Getting ready for Christmas is noting short of madness in this house, as I’m sure it is in most – as well as running with my usual day to day madness it’s been a crazy couple of weeks, dare I say more so than usual…

Which as you can I see in the top photo I was accompanied to by my partner Angus, who so rarely attends anything with me it was a real treat! It was also great to catch up with Meinolf (pictured above) who flew all the way over from Starlight Express in Germany to see all the original Starlight designs, which really were something to behold.
I had a wonderful evening with my dear Richard Roe at the Royal Albert Hall for Christmas with the Stars in aid of Bloodwise, a charity very dear to my heart. I also got to hear the divine Che Chesterman sing, who quite frankly in my opinion was robbed of that final!
I bumped into the gorgeous Gok and my dear friend author Francesca Simon at BBC Radio 2, all there to talk about Children in Need…
… I also made it to the Crazy Coqs to see the one and only Lorna Luft perform, who literally took my breath away with her brilliance. Lorna is a long time friend and true legend in my eyes, and the little moments we get to spend together are always so joyful, so come back soon please!
I’ll be back in a bit with more pics and all the goss from my Christmas theatre outings to Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and The Little Match Girl, as well as what I’m going to be getting up to over Christmas and New Year! So make sure you check back…
