So I hope you’ve all had a wonderful couple of weeks enjoying the beautiful and unexpected October sunshine. It’s certainly made dashing around London that much more bearable -there’s nothing worse than turning up to a meeting soaking wet and having to sit there looking like a drowned rat!
As always I have been here, there and everywhere, and have plenty of pictures to share with you all.
I attended a wonderful lunch for the Women of the Year awards, which was so truly humbling to hear about some of the incredible things these truly inspirational women have done.
I had a fabulous tea and catch up with my darling Debbie Moore, there really is no end to how long we could sit and gossip for!
I was thrilled to be invited to by Jonathan Shalit to celebrate his OBE, and had a fantastic time at the party catching up with Lorraine, Kate, Denise, amongst many others, and loved seeing the darling Pixie Lott whom I just adore.
I spend a lovely evening at the Chairmans Dinner at the one and only Roundhouse, and it was so thrilling so see the display of new talent this season has to offer.
I attended the Good Housekeeping Institute Gala which was really fun, and got to catch up with so many faces from the magazine I have been so lucky to work with on several occasions.
The dinner i mentioned last week at Chotto Matte was nothing short of sensational, with food from heaven, and also company from heaven in the form of the divine Brian Friedman, who’s passion and creativity I just adore.
I’ve managed to escape London of a couple of occasions, although the destinations couldn’t be more different! Leeds for the weekend to celebrate a family wedding anniversary, and then it was back home and straight on the train to Paris for more auditions for the Wizard of Oz tour. However, both were just wonderful in their own way!
All the running around I was doing finally caught up with me, and you might have seen on my twitter I was sick, sick, sick! It was just awful, I’m not good at staying still at the best of times, so coupled with feeling like I had the virus from hell, let’s just say I was not the happiest version of myself… Still, I’m a huge believer in mind over matter, and I was back on my feet and off to more auditions and rehearsals in no time!
It was wonderful to attend the Collars and Coats Gala for the Battersea Dogs and Cats home for the second year running. I more than fell in love with several of the dogs that had come out to play for the night, one in particular who I’ve go my eye on and can’t wait to go and visit… So watch this space for a possible new addition to our family… I’ve got all the pictures to come from that next week! Of course I’d have quite happily adopted David Gandy who was there as well, although I’d have had to beat down the hoards of women lined up round his table waiting for pictures!
My episode of Holiday of my Lifetime that I filmed last month in Southport with the one and only Len Goodman is now up on Iplayer! I’ve had such lovely comments from so many people about how much they enjoyed it, so I you do too. ..
Anyway, it’s another busy week ahead for me, and I hope you all have a wonderful one whatever you’re doing.
Much love, and hope you liked the pics…
